A CURRICULUM YOU CAN KEEP PRACTICING

Keep your learning connected

Your Language App Should Know What You’re Actually Learning

A predetermined course works when the app is your entire course. But you may already have a college textbook, a self-study book, a tutor’s curriculum, class vocabulary, or several language resources.

When those materials and your practice are disconnected, you end up maintaining separate flashcard decks, audio resources, notes, and study tools.

Ailelo is an AI language learning app designed to connect them. The material you chose becomes the foundation for how you practice.

Your material, connected

From PDF to Personalized Language Study

  1. 01

    Upload Your Material

Start with the language textbook PDF you’re already studying. You can also add vocabulary lists or CSV/Excel vocabulary files, and use Free Study for custom vocabulary.

  2. 02

    Ailelo Understands the Structure

Ailelo analyzes the material and identifies its study structure: chapters, relevant vocabulary, grammar points, and the organization of the source. AI analysis is not infallible.

  3. 03

    Create a Study Track

Your resource becomes its own Study Track. Its vocabulary, chapters, progress, and study history stay separate from your other books and languages.

  4. 04

    Study the Material Multiple Ways

That same curriculum powers spaced repetition flashcards, AI-generated audio, short written exercises, guided study sessions, and spoken AI conversation practice.

Beyond the document

Your Textbook Becomes More Than a PDF

Two useful approaches, with different starting points. Ailelo’s focus is ongoing language practice built around your material.

Document-centered help

A PDF reader or AI chat tool

A document-focused workflow can help you:

  • Read the document
  • Understand explanations of passages
  • Ask questions about the material
  • Get help while working with the document

Curriculum-centered practice

Ailelo

  • Organize the material into a Study Track
  • Extract vocabulary for continued review
  • Use grammar throughout practice
  • Build spaced repetition reviews
  • Create audio practice and short written exercises
  • Draw on your material in spoken AI conversation
  • Keep track of progress over time

Same curriculum. Different kinds of practice.

One Source. An Entire Study System.

Your words and grammar follow you from review to active use.

01 / Flashcards

Remember the vocabulary from your actual chapters.

Vocabulary extracted from your material enters Ailelo’s FSRS spaced-repetition system. Review timing adapts to how well you remember each word.

02 / Audio Lessons

Hear the language you’re currently studying.

Generate structured listen-and-respond audio practice using the vocabulary and grammar from your current material.

Explore Audio Lessons →
03 / Short Written Practice

Put a few words of it on the page.

Short written exercises draw from vocabulary and grammar in your current Study Track, with immediate AI feedback on your response.

04 / Guided Study

Bring everything together in one session.

Ailelo can combine review, new material, short written practice, and audio based on the study time you have available.

Explore Guided Study →
05 / Spoken AI Conversation

Say it out loud and hear how it landed.

Practice spoken conversations informed by the vocabulary and grammar you’re already studying. You record a response, and Ailelo gives you feedback on pronunciation, grammar, and content before the conversation continues.

One resource. One track.

Every Book Gets Its Own Study Track

Different resources stay separate while still living inside one language-learning app. Each book keeps its own chapters, vocabulary, progress, and study history.

Studying From a Textbook for Class?

If your professor assigns Chapter 7 this week, your practice should reinforce Chapter 7. Ailelo connects study activities to the material you’re learning, so you can review assigned vocabulary and work with current grammar outside class.

  • Reinforce your current chapters.
  • Add extra repetition outside the classroom.
  • Use one source across several study formats.

Assigned chapter vocabulary can move straight into AI language flashcards with FSRS spaced repetition, without rebuilding a deck by hand.

For self-directed learners

Already Chosen the Book You Want to Learn From?

You chose its sequence, explanations, vocabulary, and grammar progression for a reason. Ailelo can build study tools around that resource, so the book remains the starting point.

Keep your chosen curriculum and give yourself more ways to practice it. What you read can become what you review, hear, write, and say out loud in conversation.

Room for every resource

One Language Doesn’t Mean One Resource

A beginner textbook, an intermediate book, class material, and words you encounter independently all have a place. And learning a second language shouldn’t mix those resources into one pile.

Study Tracks keep each resource organized separately. Free Study gives vocabulary outside your books a home, while your languages and books remain part of the same study system.

Personal means personal

Your Uploaded Materials Stay Private to Your Account

A few things to know

Good Questions.
Clear Answers.

A closer look at learning
with your own materials.

Can I upload a language textbook to Ailelo?

Yes. Ailelo is designed to accept language textbook PDFs, as well as vocabulary lists and CSV/Excel vocabulary files. The app is currently pre-launch; early-access registration will open on the early-access page.

What does Ailelo do with my textbook?

Ailelo analyzes the chapters, vocabulary, and grammar and organizes the material into a dedicated Study Track. The same material then powers flashcards, audio, short written practice, guided study, and spoken conversation practice.

Does Ailelo just let me chat with the PDF?

The textbook is the foundation of your curriculum. Ailelo organizes its study material and uses it across continued review and practice, rather than making document questions the whole experience.

Can Ailelo create flashcards from my textbook?

Yes. Vocabulary extracted from the textbook becomes flashcard study material. FSRS schedules reviews based on how well you remember each item.

Can Ailelo use vocabulary from a specific chapter?

Ailelo identifies chapter structure and organizes textbook vocabulary within the Study Track, keeping practice connected to the chapters you’re studying. What it can identify depends on the source material and its analysis.

Can I upload more than one textbook?

Yes. Each resource has a separate Study Track with its own chapters, vocabulary, progress, and history, so different books stay organized.

Can I study multiple languages?

Yes. Study Tracks keep different books and languages separate in one app. The initial language focus is Japanese, Spanish, and Chinese.

Can I add vocabulary that isn’t in my textbook?

Yes. Free Study gives you a place for custom vocabulary outside your textbooks. You can also bring vocabulary lists and CSV/Excel vocabulary files.

Are my uploaded textbooks shared with other users?

No. Your uploaded materials are private to your account. They are not shared with other Ailelo users or published to a public content library.
